can a re audio mx 12" handle 1200 watts

re audio mx 12" wired parelle, would a hifonics bx1206b amplifier 1200 watts @ 1ohm rms be to much. the re is 1500 watts max, housed in a 2.25 cubic feet ported box tuned to 33hz

prrly that amp most likely inst pushing the 1200watts so id say ur fine

The MX is 1,500 watts rms not max, and will take more

That is a recomendation, your box is a big factor in the power handling

You will be fine, just don't over gain, with a box that small you could get away with about 2,000 watts to that sub with no problems
