just talked to a dealer and he said i can use this

MAXX LINK - MXL-100 Universal Link & Sync™ Amplifier Bridging & Synchronization Module

Maxx-Link™, a chrome-finish, universal amplifier Bridging and Synchronization Module, joins the ranks of over 30 new amplifier and speaker products under the Hifonics’ brand. As a universal amplifier bridging module, Hifonics MLX-100 Maxx-Link™ permits interconnecting (a.k.a. linking) up to five amplifier pairs into a Master and Slave configuration. Now a pair of amps can be linked together to create one huge subwoofer amplifier output channel. A remote-mounted Level Control provides amp clipping indicators in addition to being a master gain device for the whole array of amplifiers. Hifonics Maxx-Link™ Key operating features for the Maxx-Link include; switch-able Master and Slave controls, a 24dB adjustable Low-Pass, an adjustable Parametric Bass EQ with Wide/Narrow bandwidth notching, an adjustable 24dB Subsonic Filter, an adjustable Phase Control ( 0 to 180º) and a built-in testtone generator for easy system set-ups. Maxx-Link, through its ability to synchronize multiple mono-block car audio amplifiers into a larger output, single-channel amp array, opens up a new field of car audio system creativity for the enthusiast.

will this work or not?

? if its sold as a mono block then chances are it is.

What amp?

and as far as testing it with a dmm? I suppose you could put a dmm on each set of terminals and go left/reight balance on the deck and see if it varies.

But if its a mono block and has 2 sets of terminals, then its likly bridged inside. 2 sets of terminals make it easier to wire multiple subs.

what ohm load will i get when i strap the 2 amps ....1ohm?

amps dont determine the ohm load.

I would shoot for a 2 ohm load to be safe, Most strapped amps are 2 ohms stable when strapped.

i will be pushing 4 12"orion hcca d2ohm 08subs what ohm load will i get when i strap the 2 amps ....1ohm?
Why not just power 2 of the 12's with each of the Orions instead of strapping? With strapping their is always a huge loss of efficiency and power. By using 2 amps by themselves on 2 subs each you should actually get more power to the subs.

the interconnection of amplifiers affects the load seen by each amplifier channel.

the analogy I like is the weightlifter. if you've got 200lbs of weights, then the weights should only weight 200lbs. but if you've got someone else pushing down on the weights suddenly the weights seem a bit heavier even though they still have the same amount of iron.

this is why "2 ohm stereo" stable 2 channel amps are "4ohm bridged" stable. likewise, any series connection of amplifiers will have this phenomenon -- the amps are affecting each other. strapping and bridging are both series connections of amplifiers.
