Can I give a 10" Kicker CVX more than 600rms daily? I know most kicker subs are not meant to be sealed, but I want to go ahead and try it sealed. Which is why I ask if it can take... say.. 1000 daily? It'll take almost twice the power to get it as loud sealed rather than ported. You may ask, then why not go ported if you want it loud. Well.. because I would like some clarity, I would like tight bass. Not fartbox bass (no offense, because I love ported enclosures) i just figured with the way I have my soundstage currently configured I would like to try it sealed. If not, Can you suggest another woofer that will get decently loud while sounding good off of 600-1000rms daily that I can run SEALED AND PORTED if I decide to switch boxes. Much cheaper to switch boxes than to switch subs. Although with christmas around I could opt for a more expensive, higher end driver. I was thinking maybe an RE SX 12. 420.00 on woofersetc.com -- My mother doesnt have much money.. so this year for christmas, whatever I want that exceeds 400.00 I have to pay half. So basicly im buying my own christmas present. How lame. Was going to get a nice flatscreen TV but im in need of a GOOD subwoofer that will keep me happy for a long time. So its either the CVX or something along those lines, that can run sealed or ported, 600-1200rms. Or should I say **** it and get the 12" RE SX? I also have no amp. So.. ill have a good sub, and no amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
