Calling Circle Saw Users.. straight cuts...

Yes, you can make your own. They are simple. I don't have a picture of mine but all you do is take two pieces of scrap, one must have a factory edge. The bottom piece should be 12" by however long. Take a piece that is 3" wide or so and screw it to the 12" piece to create a guide. Make sure it is more than the width of your circular saw cut. Simply run the circular saw along this edge to trim the 12" wide piece to the exact cut width of your saw. From now on, mark your line and set the cut edge of the guide along that line, clamp it down and cut. It will leave you with a straight cut every time as long as you run the saw along the edge firmly.

I'm positive you don't have enough of a brain to make your own, but are you really also too lazy to make your own.

Literally... clamp a piece of wood to the board you're cutting you tard. I know your feeble brain can't handle much, but seriously....

Ok, i have all my stuff...installed. I built the box myself, and installed the subs and it's all in my car. (lol, the box was so big for my truck, i had to take out the passenger seat to cram it in) Ne wayz...the box is 33.5" wide, 16" deep, and 23.5" tall (external dimensions) I built it separate chambers, so it's divided in the middle. My ports for each chamber are 4x4 and 11" long...ports are firing towards the ceiling(subs are faced forward) The ports use the back corners of the box wall as part of the port wall. My box was made with 3/4" MDF, wood glue, 2.5" screws, and i caulked the entire inside seams. The subs are 2 12" edk's dual2ohm. Wired for 2ohm load to my jbl600.1 and i reset my gains...absolutely no bass boost...it's set at about 50-60hz lowpass crossover and i have an inline 20hz subsonic filter. (and when i got the dimensions for the box, when jmac was here...he told me it would be 2.5ft^3 per chamber tuned to 34z)

OK, that's my entire box and amp set up so u can tell me if i did ne thing wrong there.

THE fukkin problem is, when i play stuff... it's like one sub is a fraction of a second later than the other. Plus, it doesn't get as loud as i thought it should be...it's almost like my 2 12" mtx6000s in a pre-fab sealed box were kinda louder on some stuff.(i KNOW this can't be) The subs being delayed is waht is really pissing me off. Also, it seems like the subs "vibrate" when they hit hard(i don't know b/c i've never heard it b4...but i guess this is tinsel slap) Thanks everyone for all the help, u guys are the experts and i need help to make my system sound the best it can! peace

Just think of different ways...

-laser

-chalk line

-straight 2x4

-2 dots marking the start and end of the line, then stretched nylon string to connect the points and pencil the line in

etc.

The fraction of the second issue can be solved by changing the phase of all your speakers or using any time alignment on the deck if you have it.
