I really want to run 1 nightshade v3...but for the price I could get 2 x -18's, either way I am spending a small fortune on power, but one would assume two 18's even in smaller boxes would trump a single 15"

So what would you do, go for consolidated power, or nasty cone area

I will be running two aq 2200's strapped at 2 0hms

let me clearify 2 18" top fired in a trunk looking like this [OO]

or 1 stout 15" front fired and cabin sealed with good clean power

zv4 all day, more space, mean sub, and the x's been having alot of issues with glue on surround....

I think they do but I've seen the problems more with the x's than the zv4.... maybe something with the production....

idk because of configuration and what not i'm worried two 18" wouldn't be optimal, I could front fire a 15 and use my 10" aero for some good spl numbers, but two 15" or 18" would be rattling the trunk off its hinges in the worst way, I would say 2 12" but I might aswell get the 18" in that case

Most of the time more cone area more spl, so if thats what you are going for I would say two 18's.

They are having problems with both the zv4 and X's it's not just one line it's the glue but it's usually an easy fix I'm not sure if Jacob has taken care of this yet or not

I like the one 15 idea. Get a monster 15 a make the design flexible. Might save ya a little money also. I did the same with a treo ssx 15 and loved it.
