Yea, I posted before you threw up the other two posts of pictures. What was the reason behind sealing off one side of the stairs?

one side is the basement side, the other is garage side..

so it's sealed off so that if i wanted to i could open my garage door, and i dont loose and heat or A/C from the laundry, or extra room...
