Calculus
So is calculus.

Which is college ****....why is it in high school?
@wew lad where in FL are you?
Might be pre calc or college prep calc senior year of high school? I don't miss those days at all. I've never used calculus once outside of undergrad.

I blame our government. Making our kids work harder and given more harder problems. Hell sometimes I have a hard time dealing with some things my 12 year old brings home lol
classic @papermaker

starts with "that's easy shit"

ends when he relates it to some completely unrelated topic and provides zero insight into the actual problem

sometimes the dialog continues due to people asking him what the hell he's talking about
what the **** are you talking about? you even know what I'm talking about. its plotting a line though space in the dimentions of there planes at once. SMH. i've been out of school for 15 years. two weeks to refresh id kill that..

this is similar to plotting points. you get a defined point to measure and measure each point with the dimensions. broken down into specific points you can calculate per point and you can figure out from there, spacing, rise per foot and roll per foot. its not exactly what he is doing here but its the concept that is what I'm assonating with it..
get off my ****. I don't see you writing the formulas given the variables..
don't knock me help him.. again I don't get paid to do other people homework and if I need to know it ill easily figure it out.. that being said if you want me to solve one to show you put your money where your Mouth is.

BW the conduit is on the side of the stairwell structure following the slope and curvature of the stairwell. its there for 1, lighting on the stairwell and 2 different transmitters that are put that the top of these takes. they have one conduit for power and oe for controls and they have to be bent linear to the structure and each other..

simple question I bet mr WEW lar cant figure out.. if I have a 1/2 diameter tubing 10 foot long.. and I need to offset 4" up in a straight line how much of tge total length of the tubing will you loose with the offset in it? I do **** like this everday and that is the most BASICE calculation.. its nothing hard but I bet he cant figure it out without looking it up

this specific peace had 13 bends. its one continuous piece. you have to know how much you loose/gain on each bend in order to get you length correct when you change direction.

its not just on the bender or given to you. its all day math and you better not be more than a 1/6" off cause you have to throw the whole stick.. which this piece is about a 2 week wait and 300$ a stick..

I bent this to go on what we nickname a pigging pump.. it pumps a "PIG" thought the pipeline. the pig cleans the line and xrays for cracks/weakness in the pipline at the same time its being forced through the pipeline buy a big *** cat v12(think this motor was the 3412c)using typically a type of oil pumped though a 6 piston pump linear pump to push the pig from the rig offshore to the compression station or the refinery..

That sort of thinking is why American children are so far behind compared to the rest of the world.

when I was younger we had 2 forging exchange students. one turned out to be a doctor and one I'm not sure what she does now.. just the fact that the girl from Ukraine came here at 15 and was tested and went straight to school as a senior is a huge tell to our education.

granted I to had the option to take cal or trig I opted out and tough myself years later.. I was to busy in the streets like a jackass..

props to the lil fool doing his calculus homework..
****, this is actually something I could help you out with, but I just got medicated (stoned) and I can't do math high… my bad

When is the test?
Gotcha, I don't know when the test is. Next week is spring break though, so it's going to be more than a week from now
Just get help from the teach after class…. if you know what I mean ;) unless it's a guy teacher. then just fail and call it a day haha
She's kinda old and not very attractive, but I'd smash if it would get me an A ;)
Check out khan academy, that looks like some calc 1 stuff. He'll definitely have it
I watched his videos throughout calculus and ordinary differential equations

Edit: you'll use partial differential equations and modeling analysis(upper division engineering) when finding the area of a sub; which involves solids rotating about an axis
Yeah, Kahn academy is great! I've used it before, but didn't find a video for these types of problems
The double post are real.
Yeah, I'm going to have to take several calculus courses in college for my mechanical engineering major too :crap:

No, I took precalc and trig last year. This is real full calculus. It's a "dual credit college class". The local community college tells our teacher what to teach and we get college credits for taking the class
