so ive downloaded and have used winisd and i dont understand what any of the graphs are on there. i have 4 type r's 2 ohm and im pushin them with a planet audio rxd2400 amp. if somebody could tell me what the volume should be and what to tune it to i can handle the rest on designing and building it. im pushin for all the subs in one box since i'll be using one amp. its an everyday car and i want them to be deep and loud. any help will work. thanks

ok. cause i had someone design me a box and he came up with 6.4ft^3 at 32 hz. im just tryin to get a bunch of input to see what most people would go with

from my experience, a single type R 12 seemed best in 2.2 cubes tuned to 35hz. 6.4 seems is a little small imo. 1.6 per 12 is too small, unless you switch to 10 inch type R's. try to at least get the volume up to 7. tuning could go up a little, but 32 would be acceptable.

No you don't have to have a rectangle box (I think that's what you meant) but if the walls close off too much, you might end up losing that area as useable space anyway.

Post up a sketchup, or a really good description for better help
