Calculated dB of my Obsidian 15..

Well. based on what everybody said, I would assume I'll be doing around 135ish db. I don't want to go louder than 140dB, I want to keep my hearing. Single Obsidian 15 D4 on an ASPM-1500 at 2 ohms 800 watts RMS in a 3.4CU ft box tuned at 32 hz. Subs going to be in my trunk firing into my car with the seats down.
I would have bought d2 just incase more power is wanted down the rd... After rise and voltage drop ur 2ohm load is now a 3+ohm load so that 800watts is not really 600watts..

I know...but nobody had a D2 for sale. Its okay, I wouldn't have been able to handle 1 ohm power from the ASPM, or any other 900+ watt amp anyways. I think i'll be fine and content with the loudness.

If u need a new one then well u need a new one. Have fun trying to tell ur dad that ur replacement batt is 300 bucks which is bout the price of the g31 Platinums.. Doubt he is that stupid being walmart has wet cells that fit ur car for well under 100 bucks
i heard the diehard platinum was like 100 to 150 at sears. for the size one that would fit in my civic. so i don't think its the g31.
