This is mostly for the future for anyone else that comes across this thread. Below sums up pretty much everything. Let me know if I missed something.

PROS:

-Rated at 13.8v

-Puts out rated power (unconfirmed, but believed to)

-Great price per watt

-2 Year warranty

CONS:

All I have is the 3002 and 3004. I'm tickled pink for 100 bucks a piece....lol No heat issues anyway. Runs the drivers clean and loud.

Do they include the spade terminal adapters for the cables? It would be nice since most amps tend to use the screw types.

Nevermind, they don't. Got my answer from DIYMA.

If it gets that hot then you may have 1 of the amps that wasn't supposed to hit the market and was to be destroyed but fell into some wrong hands(a few ebay sellers)

Funny you mention that as I DID have one of those Ebay amps, but I returned it and got one of the new ones that Cadence just got in with the mega heat sink. The defective one I got overheated in 3 songs. The one I have now doesn't overheat unless you play it full bore for about an hour. Has a great ground, ample wiring, and the gains are not turned high, and it has all kinds of room under and above it. I put a fan under it and if it ever gets hot I flip the switch and problem solved. No biggie. I kind of think it doesnt like the bridged ohm load from the D2 ID sub...might be a little under the true 4 ohms it wants. I am happy with its output tho.

I received my amp today. I would have received it yesterday, but no one was home to sign for it (yes, I tried the note with the signature). The amp dwarfs my US Amps MD2D and I thought that was a big amp. I will have to find somewhere to mount this beast.
