I just picked up a Cadence Daytona DCA2500.1 Locally, I can't find all that much info about it, so I was wondering if anyone here has ran or knew someone who ever ran one of these & if so, what your thoughts were / are about it. Thanks in advance for any / all input gathered. Here are some pics of this amp:

Looks like it should put in work, no experience tho, but it does look good.
Yeah I'm hoping so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I got it 4 a song so I'll never lose out, but I wanted MORE power anyway So I'm planning on running this...

ttt - Anyone out there know anything about these??? I want to say it's era is like 2003-06-ish ? I've read a few different things about these amps, but nothing substantial & cadence support on it is nill... Can't even find a **** owner's manual :-( I heard this is a USA made / assembled amp ? But I have no clue, never messed with much from Cadence besides speakers & subs in the past for other peeps installs... ANY insight on this would be appreciated.....

Well I was able to get Cadence to Email me a manual for my amp, but they couldn't help me out with the remote knob so off to ebay I go to begin searching... Here are the specs directly from the manual for this amp & I noticed they say "@4 ohm: 100 watts" - LMFAO that is a fkn crock right there I have it on a 400w rms sub wired to 4 ohm and it bottoms out my sub before I even get close to matching my HU output voltage with the amp's gain... It sounds pretty good though & I'm having no issues with it, just need something beefier to unload this on soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Bump - Does anyone know what the ACTUAL 4 ohm RMS output of this amp is? Cadence Daytona DCA-2500.1 - The manual says "100 Competition Watts" - The gain is set way way low & it's just too danm much for the poor lil pioneer I've been bashing 2 death with it... My sub started smelling today so I pulled the amp and Hooked back up the Orion HCCA-D2400 which I know to do 425 rms @ 4 ohms & all is well... The Cadence is a gr8 amp & I like it, but I'd like to know what it puts out @ 4 ohms... I will get it clamped, but was just curious if anyone knew?

Ugly as sin. Cheater amp loke a mofo. Built like a tank. Maybe Cadence's best amp.
I want it. Gimme.
lmao I just got it, I want to run it... but I need a beefy sub or set of subs that can handle this thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Yeah I like it a lot, It is pretty ugly, but it's beefy as hell and seems to be pretty **** efficient... I have my custom box being built for the unreleased as of yet: Sundown X Series... I also have an SA-12D2 that I'm going to throw in that enclosure just until I get my X, But I KNOW wired @ 1 ohm will be wayy too much for the SA, which is why I am curious about it's actual 4 ohm output...

was a cheater amp as you could be put into lower classes with low 4 ohm rating
I know, but I had it running a 400w RMS / 1400 Peak Pioneer Champion 12" D2 sub wired @ 4 ohms and it was wayyy to much for it... The gain was set wayyy low and it was effortlessly overpowering the shyt outta that sub. The same sub is now hooked up to my Orion HCCA-D2400 @ 4 ohms and it's good, not burning it up anymore... So whatever it's actually doing at 4 ohms, I KNOW it is well above the 425 that my Orion puts out @ 4 ohms...

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking

I snagged this off of craigslist for $120 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Thats a great deal! I never find anything good in my area //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
