Cable/Sound Quality

I guess I would have to purchase and test for myself, the cables are so cheap. but i'm curious on everyone's thoughts on this and may already know.

For an iPhone/iPod connection to factory radio's aux.

AUX 3.5mm to 3.5mm (using headphone jack on iphone/ipod to AUX in car)

Audio Patch Cable - CableJive

or from 30pin on iPhone/iPod to AUX in car.

Line Out Audio Cable for iPhone, iPod and iPad

are the two cables above basically exactly the same?

or is the sound now processing using the iPhone/iPod's/Factory Radio DAC or does that only apply when using a USB connection.

Oem cables are readily available for most vehicles. Check rockauto. Anything less will be a future headache.
