Cable Guys

Comcast cable guys **** ***. How hard is it to find people that can speak english to do one ****ing job. Tonight was the fifth visit we've had in 2 months to get high speed internet running. I don't understand why they don't hire people that are understandable, and that know how to do their job. Why do they think we can understand them when the dispatch office can't even understand their own employee's.

Me = Pwned by cable guy's spanglish and lack of know-how.

I was once savagely ***** by a pack of cable guys in a poorly lit back alley, don't get me wrong I was traumatized for months but turns out I met them in a bar about 3 years later and they turned out to be alright. Even bought me a beer and treated me to a game of darts, all said and done the cable guy is forever a friend of mine.

for what it cost to hire just one american, they can get an entire village from some other shit country

the cable guy showed up late for his appointment, and before we could get mad at him he was cussing some dude out on the radio for overbooking him. they had scheduled him for three different stops in about and hour and a half, and these stops were in 2 diffent citys 20min away. he was so pissed that we couldnt be mad. we tried to send him off with a beer but he refused. i guess you cant do that when your puttin in cable

go back to ****ing your dak-rats. j/k, i know that but you have to draw the line somewhere, atleast train these guys to read a ****ing map and learn to wire a house up. I had to show the guy how to wire a router to a modem and the router to the computer for ****s sake.

I'm not having problems with the connection now that we have it, I know how to set up and troubleshoot a network so that isn't the problem. I've only dealt with 2 cable companies in northern illinois, and that is mediacom and comcast. if mediacom had service out in the boonies I would have called them.

Charter isn't any better. We've had their high speed internet for about two years and it always ****s up. Someone came out here right when we got it, and told me it was a problem with my computer, which is wrong because it's happening on every computer in the house. I've got a new computer now though and the problem is still there. One of the signal levels on our modem always drops down low, when that happens the connection goes out until you reset the modem, which is a pain in the *** because it happens about 4 or 5 times per hour and sometimes it doesn't even come back on for 4-5 hours.
