This by far is my favorite of all time. This is when you KNEW the Wings were winning the cup that year. That was when the Wings swept the so called "legion of doom". Then the Red Wings became the LEGION OF BROOM. That was sooooo sweet coming away with the sweep too. Only to do it again the following year against Washington.





As far as this year is concerned: I don't see anyone beating the Red Wings at this point. Dallas simply isn't good enough and the Eastern teams remaining aren't fast enough. I see Detroit taking it, and that means a ton coming from me.

However, if the Pens get past the Flyers, I think they could surprise some people.
