My apartment at school was a few blocks away from campus. To be honest, for being new... that's not a bad deal at all.
I moved into some ON-campus apartments (but privately owned) that were BRAND NEW my sophomore year. They 4person, 2bedroom, 2bath, common Kitchen/Living room... and the were $449 per month (Cable +HBO, Internet, all utilities included)...
When you think about it... that is $1800/month and we didn't even have our own bedrooms. The place was pretty small. I always said, you pay for convenience.
Place I'm at now, has little more square footage, a driveway and garage... and is HALF the price per month rent wise. We have to pay utilities though.

You don't see the streaks on the roof be the dish? Your roof should be one color, not a combination. lolHow can you tell that the roof needs it?

yeah, i mean the next cheapeast place would have been getting a 2 bedroom apartment for $350/mo, $43 cheaper a month. But, me and the asian guy being into car audio wanting a garage, and the other two guys who are going to use the loft (3rd story) as bedrooms/architecture studio, its really worth it in our eyes.To be honest, for being new... that's not a bad deal at all.
