It would all be so dependent on the box.

Wonder if they just go by Manufacter Specs or just a generic box.That would mean the world.

Ive heard a Type R 12 in a 1 cube Sealed box with 1000 watts and a Type R 12 in a 3 cube box tuned to 35 hz on a 1000 watts and they sound like 2 Completely different animals and sound like 2 different subs.

Im talking about bdubs 767 on the soundbuggy forum. He didnt make the list, the magazine did, hes just a ordinary college student. Hell i dont know the guys that made that list. I agree, the list seems a bit iffy on some things. And from what ive seen it was actually the idmax that is ment to come out next year that was tested.

for all around music i would take a MX over both, for bas, the 06XXX

As for that Critical Mass Sub, they also are throwing alot of real estate in the fact that they dont need much for a box

I agree...Actually the mag was rated in the upper 70's IIRC. That would put it in the top ten. Not bad for underpowering it IMO. He could have ported it too, but oh well.
