c.d. skips EASY

i have a brand new rockford fosgate rfx8350 c.d. player and it skips real easy! I will be sitting in my drive way not even mocing and it will sit there and skip??? I have tried multiple c.d's and it does it to all of them. I have also checked all of my wires and there are no bare wires grounding out to metal to make the sound cut out?? what is the problem?

You may just have a faulty HU. Perhaps the laser is really off alignment too or something. I would bring it to a reputable dealer and see if they can check it out.

That's true, with mine it was fine at first, then it became unbearable. However, even after I had it service and a new laser put in it still skipped. Hope you have better luck!

man that's just rockford's new way i guess i have reinstalled mine probably 80 times and it still skip and it scratches my cd's.... simple solution uninstall it pick it up lay it underneath your tire and back over.... cause you cann't even give it away, much less sell it and try to get some of your money back
