Bypass module help

When hooking up a bypass immobilizer, there is a key sense, data, and synch wire in the vehicle that hooks up to the bypass immobilizer, but everytime I look at the schematics for any vehicle via 12 volt, audiovoxx, etc, there is no info on the location of the key sense, data, or synch wire. Any idea on a general location of where these wires would be located, or are they possibly labled something else? Please help no specific vehicle, just a general question.

they are in the steering wheel at the factory key location. you will need vehicle-specific wiring diagrams - maybe buy a manual for the car that includes schematics. you can also contact a local stereo shop as they will have the DEI wiring data for the vehicle.

if you still need help go to Idatalink.com search your vehicle and download the install diagram. In there they will show you where and what color to look for.

sorry for asking, but why would you want to bypass it?
in order to remote start the vehicle its immobilizer needs to be bypassed. They say bypassed but its really just tricking the vehicle into seeing the factory key so that it will actually start.
