I understand your point, but do you think some of the people on this site, like the ones asking if Pyle is any good and being serious about it should install an amp? People like I would recommend not installing their own stuff. Chances are, if they don't know the equipment, they more than likely will not know the proper procedure of installing an amp.

Yes we could assume this person has no idea. There are plenty of times I recommend someone take their system to a local shop if I feel they are in over their heads, and helping them over the internet simply isn't realistic. But again, this is a DIY site, you are more likely to find people perfectly capable of installing their amplifier than you would someone who has no idea. Remember, this site is not a slice of the population, or even of the average car audio enthusiast. I do know how to install amps bro, the whole point of my thread was to give peeps the heads up that these new pdx amps do not perform like they say they will, Hands down its a beautifule amp lotsa power for its size, but it just cant take the abuse most of us put on our setups but it just wasnt working for me, if ida bought that amp off egay id be stuck with it right now, thats my reasoneing behind haveing some of my stuff installed...

I wasn't referring to you at all, was referring to other people I see on the board who don't know certain functions of the amp, or basics of car audio.

As for the pdx's, you're right, theyre not meant for abuse. There's plenty other amps for that, but I would definitely not use the pdx as one of them.
