Which amplifier is a better built, stronger, better amp for 2 12" Alpine Type Rs?

A Hifonics BX1500D or a Memphis Audio 1500D?

Also, is around 225 a good price for a memphis 1500D??

It has just come to my attention that the 1500D is not a 1 ohm stable amp.... am i correct on this? I really hope not. It was such a good deal.

the XX series are underrated, and are rated @ 12 volts too.

Everything else is rated at 14.4v, the 2006 line puts out its rated, but anything older than that is overrated.

The Memphis 1500d is not rated at 1 ohm like the Hifonics. Sub wiring dependant..

^ honestly this often doesn't matter

because when you look at in box impedance, it usually isn't that low anyways.
