k so bare with me for a sec and pls take the time to read this cuz it should be long..
so....i had noise problems b4 but never like this, more insanly loud floor noise and shit and that turned out to be two(used) amps malfunctioning, not my install but ok....
the other day i bought mac audio fearless 2000 brand new and a helix 1F power cap(which i got in a trade fro a broken amp(beyond fixing for the money i paid for it so i took the cap)...and during the install the power wire hits the casing of the Rca cabel which was hooked to the HU(alpine9855) but not the amp...so i blow the smd fuse on it, take it apart and the dmm shows that the rca outs lost ground on two places, so i deal with that and think everything is fine...i hook it up again and the buzzing noise is still there..
i try my friend's HU(pioneer 5900 one week old)and i know the rca outs are good on that one cuz he doesnt have any cabels or amps in his car...and still the same thing tried a different rca cable thru tha cabin away from any power source, even used a remote wire on it instead of the one theat going to the trunk....now for the treat
when the car is turned off everything is fine, no buzzing sound, no noise, when i turn it on the problem starts.. the buzzing sound is not related to the HU's volume level but the amps gain--meaning i can turn it up on the hu as much as i want and the noise level doesnt change but as i turn up the gain on the amp the noise gets louder!!and pressing the gas pedal makes teh noise increase, whistle sound like....i tried the internal amp on teh HU and no noise what so ever, car on or off, but the moment i hook it up to the amp and start the car the problems start again..i checked the contacts and the installation and the cables are good...i suspect the power cap or teh amp seeing how those 2 are new in teh install....
maybe even the alternator???
the speaker and rca cabels dont cross with the power ones but at places where the come close(10 cm) the speaker cables are wrapped in aluminium foil...
any thoughts?
