Hat Keeps Scammers Away
My wife and I are buying our first place, and let me tell you all, its a pain in tha a55. All the paper work that has to be done and the waiting for it to get done. Very excited, and feels like it is taking forever.

Just thought I'd express this on here.

 
Sry will have to wait until we get moved in. cam got packed yesterday and will not have internet for 2 weeks there. not closing until the end of next week.

will get them though ASAP

hahaha i finally got sick of spending money on a place to live. just moved in with dad for the first time in years... havnt paid for beer in 6 month and there is always beer in the fridge

 
your agent gets 5% commission from the price of the house that you buy or sell, so tell her only way you'll do the deal is if you get 1% from her 5% if she denys you then say ok then we have another agent we want to bring in the deal and then the agent will have to split the commission in half and only get 2.5% instead of 5% so ofcourse they always will to split it and give you 1%..if the agent trys to tell you she cant its illegal or whatever dont belive them they are just greedy and want all 5%.

 
Congrads. I bought my house off my parents years ago and then sold it for a good price(almost 2 years ago) and actually made a little bit of a profit.

Now I live in an apartment which is a little bit bigger than the house I sold. I sold it being I needed to save some money to pay other things off and worked out well. I do miss that house though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

All paid up on bills now and early next year will be getting into another house and just can't wait for all the paper work! I do know what you mean, but is worth it. Again Congrads!

Try selling a house though. Talk about nightmare!

What kind of shitty agent takes 5% listings? Also what kind of shitty agent takes listings and tries to sell them themselves? Let someone else do the work for you. The agent only gets the full commission if they represent both the buyer and the seller anyway. As a buyer I wouldn't work with that agent because you really don't know who they're working for. Are they working in the best interest of the buyer or the seller?

My wife is a Realtor and if someone tried the above with her, she'd tell them to get bent and refuse to work with them anyway. Under certain circumstances she might offer some money toward closing, but if someone demanded a cut of her commission she'd just walk away.
