Buying my first Double DIN.. Need some more options

Crap thing about my car is that it needs a $100 harness ( 2000 bonneville )

My local dealer was telling me about a JVC for $600 installed.. I never thought JVC was that great, but they stand by them 100%, especially the Arsenals

My local shop has those units, I was dead set on the JVC before I picked up my eclipse, the jvc didnt feel as loose as the pioneer did, both where very user friendly, both had tons of features, honestly I would buy which ever is cheaper, both are nice units

I would pass on jvc look at kenwood 6140 or the new one 6160. Great bang for the buck new or used.

Yea they looked pretty nice with a really nice 7" screen and all the basic options for $600

the Pioneer doesnt have BT, which is kinda lame.. THe Arsenal has BT audio streaming .. Not to sure what this is, can I just set my Iphone to BT and stream my playlist with out the cable hooked up or what?

Those are nice, but they are double the price I wanna pay.. If I wanted to pay that much i would buy the Avic-Z120

Thats what the owner told me should be able to stream audio wireless ...and are u buying at the shop? or online?

Ehhhhhhhh .. probably the shop... Trying to support the local audio as much as possible.. I live in MN and if it wasnt for remote starters, I dont think we would have ANY local car audio shops.. Then just recently MN passed a no tint law , so that business is gone too.. Fawkin lame

Oh well Ill buy my mom some Halo HIDs and a remote start for Xmas, and a screen for myself.. Everything else will more than likely be bought online.. I did see the Arsenal I linked above online for like 399, but for the extra 200 Ill get lots of hookups down the road, a nice install and a free $100 harness ..

My vote would be for a Pioneer unit(p3200BT or p4200dvd) off of amazon. You can get an extra 30 percent off on them which puts them quite a bit lower than anywhere else, even ebay. Heres the code VRCBKCX6

I just got an Eclipse AVN6620 off the bay for $350 shipped. If you look long enough, you'll find what you're after for the $$ you can afford.

i dont think the 4200 has the super saver shipping..
