I bought a motorcycle off ebay but it was close enough to where I could go see it and pick it up. Everything worked out great.

yea i plan driving to where ever the vehicle is as well i am willing to travel 250 mils but thats it.

i bought my ***** am and my explorer on ebay, although the ta was about an hour and a half away and the guy brought it to me to look at before i bought it, and i drove 3 hours up to new jersey to buy the explorer. both times it was understood before i won the auction that if it wasnt kosher, i wasnt buying it.

got a steal on that explorer. 98, eddie bauer, v8, all wheel drive, leather, sunroof, nice paint, little bit of rust but nothing to bad, 45k on the clock... $6800. has 59k on it now and hasnt given me any problems at all, havent had to do anything but change the oil.

its just the same as any ebay deal, you need to find out who you're dealing with before you send them money.

I've purchased 2 cars from ebay.. both were lemons
