Buying an Epicenter?

epicenter is better for rock music and radio. it takes higher freqs and plays them as lower freqs. and the bigger wire isnt going to make it sound any louder. you might gain a few tenths on the meter at best.

If thats the QSA1000d, i'd throw some four gauge on it. But at 500rms, I don't think you want an Epicenter but rather more power, and perhaps the added efficiency of a class D amplifier.

wheres the a/b lovers around here??? haha here we go.

I have an epic-160, I unhooked the rca's and just use it for the db and volt meter. I didn't think that bass injection system they had was to good. Every now and then a loud boom and your like crap I hope that didn't blow any thing.

I'm not talking about the Sonic Properties stigma.

I'm talking about Efficiency. Class AB is less efficient than D for a sub application.
