So I've decided to buy a snowmobile by next weekend.. since I spend most of my money on stereo equipment I'm left with a fairly tight budget.. but this is what I'm looking at today:

1. 97 Polaris XLT 600. 1000 km's on rebuilt engine/clutch. Skis and track were new last season. Guy wants $1600 firm (was asking $1850 OBO)

2. 98 Ski-Doo 600 formula. 9000km's. New crank & bearings last year along with clutch. skis and track 2 seasons old. Guy is asking $2100 OBO

3. 98 Ski-Doo 700 formula. 6000km's. Good condition but all origional. Guy is asking $1999 OBO

What do you guys think ? I'm leaning towards the 700 formula.. although the Polaris seems like it might be a good choice since the motor is fresh..

Gotta get a skidoo... plus you're Canadian
Are you looking for something to ride the ditches or to race across the lake?
A little of both... mostly trail & road ridding.. but we have some rivers and a lake around here that freeze up where you can let your sled go wide open..

I take it that the rotax engines are not very good from the responses in this thread ?!?

I'm a bit of a newb here.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
