Since there's alot of emphasis placed on reputation on this forum in the buying/selling arena, I'm just curious what idiosyncrasies a seller might exhibit that irritate you the most?

Mainly, what would cause you to list someone as a 'bad seller', vs. simply chalking it up to a rocky transaction and moving on.

Obviously, an outright ripoff, where you don't get your merchandise at all, is not an option, as that is an automatic label as a bad seller, IMO.

Soooo.... of all the things that a seller might do that you'd consider irritating, but not a dealbreaker, which would you consider the worst?

If it's not in the poll, then feel free to expound in a reply.

Yall trip too much about the shipping thing. Istay in constant contact but very rarely I am able to ship the same day. If the buyer requests double boxed, extra packing, etc and I don't have those things on hand...I am not going to just drop everything because they buyer wants something special

if someone says theyre going to ship a certain day then i expect that day...i hate when they wait to the last minute to ship and you have to wait hella long for something that should have been on your doorsteep two days ago. but i also agree with flipx99, dont ask me to do all this extra crap (that you probably dont need anyway) and then expect me to get things done quickly.

I agree that it is unreasonable to expect same day shipping. I don't think that it is implied that the seller doesn't have other obligations.

On the other hand, part of communication is to discuss when the seller reasonably expects to be able to ship --- and that discussion should come before payment.

3 of what is above, I have already experienced with a seller on here. I have been waiting past due. Since he is a reputable guy and is busy at work? I'll wait a little longer. Thing that fks me off is I've asked several times for tracking # and nada. Dude hasn't logged on in a few days. I'ts bad cause I can go through paypal, but I know (Or hope) he is reputable, that it will arrive. For all I know it's on its way, but how am i supposed to know without tracking number and dude won't log on to check. Poor comunication. It's like once u send the money, they lose interest all of a sudden. It's prob all good, but I'm pissed and don't feel like getting fkd over. Anyway, I have another 2 transactions in proccess with members on here. Hope those are better.

/Rant

communication, is very important. All my buyers know that i am an excellent communicator, i always pm with updates all the way through delivery. Even after delivery to ensure everything is all in order. Weak communication bothers me.
