SPLMAX CUP a balanced points race to crown the best bass racer in the nation:

There were 5 shows in 4 regions on 6/21 and 6/22. The Bass Races were fun and exciting. Many of the shows required long driving distances to attend, this additional factor caused even more pressure on the competitors trying to win the SPLMAX CUP.

Here is a summary:

Props to EVERYONE competeing in the 139.9 bassrace class at slamology. It was probably some of the best bassrace competition i've ever seen.

See you guys in defiance, oh

BTW, if you get the chance to attend a Sam Horn show, I would highly advise it. NO ONE, and I repeat NO ONE puts on a show like Sam and his family!

2nd place? not to shabby. Good job bud
thanks bro //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

One of these days you'll take that $100 Nick!!!
Hopefully //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I had one of the weirdest break outs in the 39 class that lost me the money. I never went above a 39.8 until there was 2 seconds left, rolled up 1 volume notch and i broke out. I guess thats what happens when you use a setup that can bassrace a 152 and some change in the 39 class, lol.

Oh for sure. Sam has those shows down. There always worth coming too for sure, even if your a spectator. Even my girlfriend love's em.

Great Job Nick, i didnt even know that was you. Still going with the Autotek 4000? Good luck in the run for the cup. that was a great show, all of sams show are great. i wish i didnt pick Adam Trifonoff first round for the 129.9 class. but i did take him the distence with 3 ties and almost a 4th but i busted out with just 1 sec left. maybe next time, but next time i should have the rex and be in the 139.9 class.

Yup, thanks man.

I killed it at that show actually. I put that thing through some work tho. I was bassracing 149 class/ burping 152.1 w/ 2 batteries, 2 15's below the window line and just that amp. Can't imagine if i had 2 or 4 of them.

Jay is supposed to be getting ahold of me tho. Hopefully w/ the option to pick up some more power.
