so im kinda unshure about how to realy mount them. im running a diehard 1000ca battery under the hood and gonna run a optima redtop in the back of my truck. the vehicle being a 86 fullsize bronco. were the first battery is on a metal tray and my inner fender wheels are all plastic. can i mount the buss bars right to the inner fender wheel. for now im gonna run maybe 3 runs of 4 gauge as thats what i have. anything is better that waht im running right now wich is a single run of 4 gauge to 2000 watt amp. i wanna add another amp for my highs. does this sound like a good idea to mout them right onto the plastic inner fender wheel? ill use both a ground and power one. add they have spots to upgrade later to 1/0 gauge and a central place for acc.

I think one run of 1/0 would be fine for what you're running. doesnt' sound like you're competing or anything so 1 run of 1/0 should be fine. then you won't need a bussbar, just really nice battery terminals. sell off that 4ga. so you can buy some 1/0 and keep a little bit of it for distro block wiring.

ya id sell all of my 4 gauge off but were i live no one realy compets. i will be competing locally here. last year i was 141.9 with low line alpines and a 1000 watt amp. every one said that was a realy good score for alpine type e's in a cavy.lol idk tho. my new setup is alot bigger. 2 power accustic 15's in a huge box below window line. for now im only on the 2000 watt amp and i know im realy low on watts for these guys. they max at 2500 with a rms of 1400. and im in a fullsize bronco. so i have all the air space i realy need

what about the buss bars then. i want to get my power up anyways. i can get the 1/o here and run a couple runs of that. my problem is were to mount all my power and grounds any way. id like to make a couple of the buss bars for that
