Burr Brown DACs

The second reason they offer so many *is to make money as a company*.

They are no dummies, they know that people will pay extra for extra features

that probably offer no audible SQ improvement but the consumer market

will assume it does because the integrated circuits used are more expensive.
You have to be one of the most negative people I've ever met. On the internet that is. Burr Brown is successful because they make a good product. Are there DACs out there that are just as good? Probably. But the fact is they've made great products for a lot of years and now have a reputation to back that up and it has helped them sell more units. Whats the problem with that?

Check out Grigori Yefimovich, The Mystic Wacko. That dude was a Religous *** Perv..

I beat he ran through the woods ***** yelling, I'm a tree, I'm a tree. No no I'm a bird I'm a bird.

Tru Technology uses them.
They don't use BB DAC's.

They use BB opamps.

Zed Audio offers Burr Brown upgrades as an option for their amps.
They don't use BB DAC's.

They use BB opamps.

Anyways; using "Burr Brown" in a product description is more-or-less marketing. BB makes DACs that are $1.50. Any company can use them, even low-end products. Hell, Jensen had a product advertising BB DACs.
