burnt tinsel ?'s

left tinsel lead is burnt a little. isn't burned all the way through, but i get no reading on that coil.

that coil hasn't worked since the day i got it. just trying to figure out whether the coil is burnt or the tinsel just needs replaced.

Judging from the picture, the only way to find out is to take it apart... Recone either way.

On the bottom side of the Moofer, can you see the tinsels? Or is that area completely enclosed?

it's all enclosed. it would need a recone, which i've never done.
