Bulletproof window, how much?

i have a phone number to a company that makes 5/16" kevlar sheets 4'x8' 1 layer will stop .44 cal hand gun i got some from a job i did building an austrailan consolate. got to take some of the leftovers home. im gunna build a bullet proof speaker box out of it. but the guy said the stuff was somewhere around $11-$13 a sq ft

well it could you just wouldnt be able to see out of them. ill get some pics up later im bout to split for a car show!
