pre-assembly outside the vehicle using only screws....pocket holes are preferred because they can drilled on the inside of the box. Assemble inside the car with glue and screws. Proper amount of screws i critical when you do it this way because the glue needs a very tight joint in order to hold properly

yes very important. i had a side wall blow out on mine and a lot of leaks that took me forever to seal up
