not much good stuff in upstate NY. im from syracuse and theres a shop called installations unlimited that does some ok work. a moderator from ROE works there. VIPER118.

buddy of mine. and creative conversions can do stuff too, but meh.

all in all. way too espensive.

I'm not really looking for some place to build a crazy glass enclosure or anything. I've just gotten to the point where it may be more efficient for me to pay someone to deaden my doors and install speakers and amplifiers than finding the time to do it myself.

With that being said, if I'm going to pay for something like a simple component/subwoofer install, I want to make sure its done perfectly, hence my search for a reliable, reputable shop.

The only place I've really dealt with over the years is tech auto sound in endicott ny. They've always done a pretty good job with my friends' cars. Unfortunately I'm about 4 hours from there these days, but I suppose a trip home wouldn't hurt if need be.

Im from Buffalo and IMO these are the best shops and only ones I would go to:

Premier Car Audio in Orchard Park across from Jim Ball on Southwestern Blvd.

and Kustom Workz, http://www.kwbuffalo.com, but this place is wayy over priced on products and installs!!

and theres a place in Batavia called Hardcor Audio, http://www.hardcoraudio.com, theyre the only ones in this area that has DD !! They also look like a good shop!
