Budget Touchscreen basic double din that actually works??

My friend is looking to replace his stock stereo deck in his 02 Mazda Protege

Hes looking basically to just run his factory speakers off this double din, I just dont know much about double dins, and the basic ones at that. I care more about EQ and rca's, he has no care for that. He just wants to watch movies at breaks and stuff.

I see alot of brands on ebay, Im trying to keep it in the $300 area, brand new. He will only buy new

So is there a great buy on the market right now for a touchscreen double din?? Only requirement I heard him mention is hed like a USB slot if possible

I am looking at these as well. The thing that bugs me is that the Ipod connect is in the front. I loved how my old Pioneer had it in the rear of the head unit.
