Budget Subs

So I want to move to a dual sub setup but I'm on a relatively tight budget being a college student with minimal income. I'm looking at a prebuilt setup by skar (link below) but I've heard people with very strong feelings on both sides; they either hate them or swear by them. I have a 600 watt monoblock amp now but I would like to replace it with something bigger too. I'm trying to stay under $600 all in on the subs and amp. Any guidance on a good budget setup would be great.

Two of these subs wired to one ohm on this amp. It should hit pretty strong.
