U gota think those really low notes ur wanting to play ..usually move a ton of air and without proper port area its gona be choked out and not have great output down low . But that last design should be good

Thanks man I see what your saying I am just ready to start building it I think it is going to be impressive even with them being low power subs, also I believe having less volume is going to help when he decides to actually put them on some power.

Oh yea low power big cone area builds are fun ..and yes u dont want a huge enclosure when throwing a lot of power at subs ...so u went the right direction more port less volume ..make sure u post pics and videos for us to see as u get things done

Well since I didn't have anything to do I went ahead and got some close up pics of one of the subs just to hold all of you over until Wednesday when the box build starts.

Box Build started today used my buddy's shop to do all the cuts then assembled it at my house. Didn't Finish still got to screw the top baffle down and get some bracing figured out along with resin and paint it got cold so I went inside lol.

That box is MASSIVE!!!

I had an explorer and ran it in Db drags street B, 4 12" and 2 2000 watt amps, I think it was 40×28×14 and did a 152

That looks like it could almost wall off the back

Yeah that is massive i had 2 15s earthquake dbxi s in a 48x24x18 with massive amounts of port area in my explorer and i thought that was huge. Still got the box just sits around in my shop. Nice job man i wanna see it complete.

I have some updates, yesterday I put some resin on the box on the inside since there isn't much to see I didn't take any pictures. He came home today and we layed some paint and put the subs in the box and wired them up I got some pictures of that. there will be more updates next Monday because I have to got to New Mexico to go have Christmas with my moms family so we should have it playing on the first.

Oh yeah and I picked up some sky high ofc cable today and I must say that is the nicest 0 gauge I have ever seen!! There speaker wire is nice to lol.
