Duracell platinum g31 with as big of a battery you can fit up front

Id look for Deka rebadges

Deka, Odyssey and XS Power are all good choices.

Running 2-3k on a walmart battery is asking for fires or blown equipment or both.

The Duracell is rebadged deka

You can get them at sams club and iirc orieley

And this would be a secondary battery, I'll need correct? Or are these batteries for under the hood to run the whole car/system?

It can be the starting or a secondary

For 3k you will want 2 good batteries and probably an upgraded alt

Or just watch your voltage and turn it down when it gets low

If it's a secondary make sure you have a somewhat new agm up front

That g34 northstar on sale is an excellent underhood choice if a g31 wont fit
