Title was meant to be 500 X 1 @ 4ohm

I shouldn't have to ask but this is pretty much the first time I am running a lower powered, budget, A/B 2-channel amp so I have little experience here. I am looking at the fallowing amps to run on a DD1508, S4 coil. I assume the first three wouldn't really matter as they are all Maxxonics.

Crunch GPV1000.2

500 X 1 @ 4ohm bridged RMS

10" x 10" x 2"

30A x 2 standard fuses

$60-$70

Autotek AT1000

500 X 1 @ 4ohm bridged RMS

13" x 11" x 3.5"

30A x 2 standard fuses

$60-$70

Crunch P1100.2

550 X 1 @ 4ohm bridged RMS

16" x 11" x 4"

30A x 2 standard fuses

$70-$80

kind of the "curve ball" is the

Lanzar VCT2210

"2000 X 1 @ 4ohm max" (of course no RMS ratings and loony max ratings)

10.5" x 12" x 2"

40A x 2 Maxi-fuses

$60-$70

and for a little more dough:

Planet Audio AC2000.2.

1400 x 1 @ 4ohm bridged RMS

10" x 13" x 2.5"

fusing unknown

$100

I am honestly leaning toward the Lanzar. I know they mostly ****, but they have the same wire terminals, close to the same dimensions, same price but more fusing which SHOULD mean the potential for almost 300 watts more than the others. I also like that it is "thinner" as it will be getting mounted under the drivers seat.

Anyone else know of a more powerful amp in the $100 shipped range? I hear the 1508 can tale 1kw daily but I figured 750w~ would probably be the most I want to run on the bone stock electrical that is in this piece. Other than the "Big3" of course, I do that in every single car, if it has a stereo or not...

of course... used is always an option... but I doubt anyone can really beat the $75~ shipped for a brand new amp putting out 500+ @ 4ohm bridged

not bad, you can get them brand new for $120~ shipped though. and not really worth it IMO since it is also a Maxxonics product like the Crunch, Autotek and Hifonics...
i've had mine for a year now since last christmas with no problems

as far as finding it for 120 shipped these days good luck

mb quart dsc2150 - Google Search

mb quart dsc2150 items - Get great deals on items on eBay.com!

DSC2150- MB Quart 2 Ch 600 Watt Amplifier

and for the money how is it not worth it? what other amp are you going to get for the money that is better?

im pretty sure the DSC line from MB ended up being classified as good amps for the money that do rated if not a little more?

Hah yeah my 2150 is no longer for sale.

BUT I do have a Diamond D6 450.2 450x1 at 4ohm does more like 500+. And I have a Kicker ZR240 with sub/high pass module.

Selling each for 100.00 shipping till the end of the year.

The Diamond has less then 5 hours on it I bought it but it was way to big for my install and its in mint condition even has a subsonic filter, The kicker is used but works great.
