That is just because it’s the new forum hard on. 80% of the people recommending them don’t have one nor have they even heard one. Great sub and deserves the hype it’s getting. There are a ton of great subs out there that can compare. It is just the btl's turn on the forums.

BTLs have been around quite a while. I believe I bought my first one around october of 06, and I've been very pleased. I guess they are really starting to pick up now though

There are a few subs that compare (DC lv 5s, nightshades, ia dps, team RFs, RD super heavyweights) but most comparable subs are in a totally different price range. This is part of what makes them so good imo. I personally will stick with them as long as scott makes them simply because of the customer service he offers. Just such a good company to deal with if you ever have an issue.
