BTL vs Axis vs 9512 vs Alpha vs dp vs

the axis is the cheapest and they look like they hit pretty good on the youtube vids but the the btl always looks like it flexes sh1t more. same with the btl and night shade but that could be because most of the guys that run those subs have big ported boxes. not sure what the enclosure specs are for the axis in most of the vids i saw but they generally recommend a much smaller enclosure relatively.
Hmm, I was looking at the price MSRP. You're right about the small enclosure not sure if they'll sound better and hit harder with more airspace.

How much cheaper are you getting the axis from the listed MSRP? Or is that hush-hush? You can talk to Rio about the DP's, you'll get a great price on them.

I can get the axis for 400 shipped each. i dont really like how there is not listed parameters for the dp which is one of the main reasons why i am skeptical about buying it for all i know the fs could be 60 hz. Is rio his ca name? how can i get in contact with him?

You'd have to call IA or contact Rio aka Tommy to get specs. He's on here all the time.

EDIT: Rio is his ca sn.

Done. I forgot to throw the omega into the discussion though. Ive always wanted to try one of them i really like the idea of a cf cone and tall roll surround and they look very stout in general and i dont see to many people using them.

When I was searching for 18's, I stumbled upon the omegas and from what I saw...it was very impressive. I didnt go that route due to the fact that I didnt see anyone else talking about them or running them in their setup's. Soo, I stayed away. From the youtube vids I watched, they seem hella loud and look like monsters but that's all I know about them. I'd like to see more ppl running the omegas. 4Sure

Never that, but it is good to see what they can do real world instead of reading specs and hearing opinions.
lol so how much you can make your car implode is your goal? Youtube vids sure as heck dont' show any SQ, it's all about who's camera sounds the best. Specs assuming the manufacturer isnt' a liar is the only really good judge as everyone has a different car and that has a huge impact on response. Getting the best sub for your exact app and then tailoring it to your install is key. Anyway, for just playing music loudly, I'd go with the axis. It has the best features of any of the subs mentioned. It really is a full on SQ sub that is just silly overbuilt and will get loud. You can't get them new though, which is the only issue. Personally, I went with a set of AE AV15's to fill the similar bill of a pure SQ sub that can handle power and get loud, but I don't think that's correct for you in this case.

Never said anything about SQ. Could care less how it sounds in the video. I just like seeing how they perform real world, its the best thing next to actually being there to see/hear the setup. I will never base my next system off of what I've seen on youtube. IMO, vids give the viewer some ideas on the next build.

I'd buy the Audiopulse. Why? For the hell of it, that's why...
And it would be a great buy. Either way, each sub listed will give you the results you want. I personally like the DP's (Obviously) but the nightshades are badass as well. Cant really speak about the axis.
