Its fine tuning, although most prefer lower

well i aske someone from fi and they said it would blow im not sure why alot of guys go over the reccomended tuning figured it would be okay

who did you ask? was it scott or nick or was it someone from the forums? ive read people tune there boxes to 38-40 with them and its ok.

Tune the box @ 32 hz and be done with it... If you tune @ 40 hz you need to make sure to set you subsonic filter so you not playing below the box's tuning, you will smell it before you blow it...

yeah i think it was nick he said it would blow but ive seen people on here with that tuning i figured it would be okay i think the sub loves it.the only thing my amp is set at 35 on the sub sonic filter i dont know how much it will affect it

do they make ss filters you can buy for some amps that come with out one.my amp does just stops at 35hz can i put anoher one on there

he ment the chances of blowing it are extreamely high since music can play lower notes than 40 hz
