btl 15 ported box help

no idea what the hell im doing tried to understand all the bullshit involved but wow that shits crazy. I NEED HELP!! i dont understand putting a 90 in the port how to add that up. but i need a box for my silverado 17x17x32 with the port firing to the back wall with the sub facing there as well? i dont if thats the best way any better idea would be greatly app. someone let me know whats up thanks in advanced!!!

Its a fully loaded btl. 15 n2 with a sundown saz 1500 for now..

17 wide 17 length and 32 tall so it will be on a platform in my ext cab standing up in the corner I really appreciate the help man

Using the space you have 17x17x32 you have a gross volume of 4.24.

I would recommend a vent area of 15.5 x 3 (14.5 sq inches of port per cubic foot) with a length of 25 inches. This will get you a tuning of 35Hz, I can make adjustments if you want a different tuning frequency.

That said, with a woofer displacement of .14 cubic feet and a port displacement of .9 cubic feet your net volume is 3.2 cubic feet. Which may be a bit on the small side, but I do not have any experience with this driver first hand so I can not say how well it will work. Hopefully someone else with more experience can chime in.

If you need this drawn up let me know, but I would get a few other opinions first.

Yes I can go probably 18x18 and yes I'd love a drawing but I don't know which way through port should or sub should be...and when you say 25 inches for the port there's no 90° in that?

Yes, there would be a 90 degree turn if you are pointing the vent towards the rear of the vehicle.

going to 18 x 18 will gain you ~.5 more cubic feet...so right around 3.7 net.

Ya that will work...so the best with the vent facing back...I just don't want to hear a bunch of air moving and I hate the cone noise that's why I'd like the sub facing back
