Bs insurance ticket or not?

Sucks mang! Too bad it wasn't in the yard or somewhere, then you could have claimed it on your home owners insurance.
I would still go to court and see what you can do.

I know I wanna at least try to contest the ticket. But as far as a claim vs. the lady it just doesn't feel like itd be worth it really. It really seems like I wouldn't get jack out of it. She'd just file bankruptcy or whatever. Or move back to mexico for a while...I'm not racist or anything..but she just seems like that "type." of PERSON...not race.

Of course I took pics. But I don't know about going to court. The car wasn't worth much really. It was in bad condition; I was only selling it for $400 so thats not really worth the hastle to me. doesnt matter what it was worth, it was YOUR car. Did you get a copy of the police report? was she cited for no insurance also?

Fight the ticket and take her to small claims court for the damages.... it doesn't matter if the tire blew out or what.. she is still responsible for the damges...

You won't win the ticket case, that part is true. Now for damages, she's at fault there.

well if your gunna get a ticket for insurance, than at least try and get $1000 from her for damages and put that towards the ticket.

id be pissed. i hate cops like that. ive been in similar situations where they're gunna put the blame on you no matter what. you can just tell when they get there they're out to get you.

Take her to small claims court. She was totally at fault and that's the only way you're probably going to get your money since neither of you have insurance. You're going to win because she wasn't supposed to be driving an uninsured car, that's illegal. And she hit your car. Totally take her to court. Nevermind the price you were going to sell it for, you're going to get the kbb value.
