what could have blown up that causes no audible difference?

I heard a large sizzle (amp on back dash) and saw what looked like a smoke bomb coming from INSIDE the amp.

its possible that you blew out a couple of the Mosfets, probably just reduced the the power output some. Only way to find out is to open it up...oh and post some pics
