Anyone have any experience with this amp? If so, how did you like it? Does it stay cool @ 2 ohms? Think it would make a single Type R wang?

Anyone else got any idea for an amp around $350-$360 that'll push 1 12" type R good..?

Man, I only push 600 watts to my Type R (15 inch)and it wangs.I was thinking of MRD-1005 before I noticed it was olny 2 ohm stable and I have a DVC 2 ohm sub so I quickly reversed my decision to a Orion 1200d. It does more than 1200 @ 1 ohm and is in that price range.

the mrd-1005 are amazing... im pushin 2 10" diamond audio d6 (500rms each) and the power from the amp is soo hard and clean at the same time. Its all digital and has a lcd readout that backlie and it looks badass. It stays soo cool at 2 ohms that ive never even made the cooling fans go on!!!!!!!! It's just that efficient and that well made!......its amazing truly it is.l....i hear its 1 ohm stable daily.....i havnt tried it becuse i dont wanna risk it butmy friend has amp pushin a 12" idmax (1000rms sub i belive ) at 1 ohm and dammmm it was amazing.....even at 1 ohm the cooling fans didnt go one.....in fact, on the lcd screen the temperature never went over 155 degrees F, at 1 ohm! Thats amazing if u ask me..... He was pushin that idmax for 2 months before he sold his car and got one more idmax for his new car.. if u can i would definitally get this amp over alot of the amps that have been suggested to you....pm me if u have any questions about it
