Brutus keeps dropping into protect...

I just wired my Brutus down to 1 ohm about four days ago, and now everytime i turn it up to a certain point (my normal listening level) the amp drops into protect mode. It started yesterday, just every once in awhile, but now it does it everytime I turn it up. Anyone else have this problem?
Also, does anyone know what kind of warranty Indoaudio on ebay has for amps such as these?
i have the same problem with my amp im still trying to figure it out xcept mine just cuts out when i turn the bass up like if i have the bass really low its fine. i posted but nobody really helped me yet

Had the same problem, checked everything and it was the amp. I luckily had a warranty through a dealer on Ebay so I got a new one, sold it and and chipped in and got a NINE.1 amp.

I can't say enough about this amp btw. Just yesterday my Eclipse amp went into protect because I had my trunk all cluttered and it was the first warm day around here. When I was clearing a nice space for it I felt my NINE.1 and it wasn't even REMOTELY warm. And it puts out some NICE power. Now I just need some nicer subs and I'm set!

i had a peice of shit LDF waterlogged box, 300w rockford punch amp running to it lol

if anyone could tell me why one makes a scraping noise when i push on it would really help incase something like that happens to a diff sub i buy

oh yeah i think they sound better in a sealed box.. incase that helps..
