Broken Amp, noise through speakers - Easy to diagnose? Cheap to fix?

Ive got a kicker 650.4 amp that I pulled out of my car earlier this season because it started to make a terrible noise through my speakers, never found out what the problem was, just replaced the amp and the problem was solved.

Now I want to use this amp but id like to know if I have to pay to get it professionally done or if I can maybe do it myself or atleast diagnose it myself...

here the thread where I explain what was actually happening with the amp in good detail.

Any help appreciated, thanks
