its cause you gotta replace the whole piece thats why its 900 dollars its not just the glass ya im gonna go check out some junkyards tommorow although they say it is hard for 04 vehicles to be found at them

you do NOT have to replace the whole piece, EVER. ford would NOT design it that way. whoever told you that, is lying and just out to get your money.

call insurance, have them send out a glass guy, they will replace JUST the glass, and you'll be out your deductable

looked up the part on fordparts.com looks like ford wants you to buy the whole **** thing and not just the glass. which is total DICK. go to the junk yards

my sister rear window was vandalized, and we found a replcement at pull-a-part for 25 bux. 800 is pure rip off.

pic-a-part in Atlanta is the shiznit...200 for any motor(or used to be), 100 for ******, any other parts less than that

I had someone break my rear window on my Jimmy about a year ago, i called local junk yard and i think i got it for $200 and put it in myself. Much better then the $1200 i was qouted from other shops.
