on the lexan on the back why not cut the piece bigger to where you would have been drill through the lexan into the wood....it would have hid the screws and looks nicer....other than that nice job.


Also I need ot find a 10x8 or 10x10 3/4" of lexan , where can i get it at?

I like the look of the screws going into the lexan. Gives it some meat. I got mine from a buddy that owns a plastics shop (Royal Custom Plastics in Green Bay WI). He can usually come up with some pretty neat stuff for me when I need it.

I replaced the dash at 78k miles with a Euro dash from the UK. The OEM dash did not have the readout in the center nor did it have the silver around the gauges and it only went up to 140mph (not like that matters though).

And yes I really have 300k. Been to 46 states twice in that car. I used to travel around chip tuning European cars and doing timing belt changes on TDI's (hence forth my finger nails are always dirty I just changed my belt this weekend).
